Documentation

Welcome to the official documentation for FxMath Momentum. This professional MT5 trading bridge is designed for high-performance momentum trading with advanced features like the legendary MQ5 Bug Mode.

3. Ensure "Algo Trading" is enabled in your MT5 terminal (Tools → Options → Expert Advisors).

4. Double-click the EXE to launch. No further installation or configuration of libraries is needed.

Quick Start

  1. Launch the app and wait for the 🟢 Connected status.
  2. Select your Symbol (e.g., XAUUSD) and Timeframe (M5 recommended).
  3. Adjust your Risk % (Default 1.0%).
  4. Click ▶️ START BOT.

MQ5 Bug Mode

CAUTION: This is an aggressive trading mode. Use with strict risk management.

Replicates a specific behavior from the original MQL5 EA:

  • Allows trades without stop loss (SL) or take profit (TP) for max flexibility.
  • Enables Pyramiding: Multiple positions can be opened on consecutive candles if the trend holds.
  • Does not force close on momentum reversals, allowing the trend to breathe.

To enable, go to the Controls tab and click the 🚀 MQ5 BUG MODE preset button.

Risk Management

The bot features a multi-layer risk protection system:

  • ATR-Based Stops: Stops are calculated based on Average True Range, adapting to volatility.
  • Daily Limits: Automatically stops trading if the Cut Profit or Cut Loss threshold is hit for the day.
  • Minimum SL Distance: Protects against broker stop-level constraints.
